British Equestrian, Figurative & Portraiture painter.

KRISTINE NASON S.E.A., S.W.A.

Kristine-profileWe are proud to welcome equestrian, figurative & portraiture painter Kristine Nason to join our list of internationally established ICAS gallery artists. An accomplished artist first presented here in our Affordable ART 2014 show with her collection of 20 original works together with a series of limited edition prints, reproduced from her finest works.

Kristine inherited an artistic talent passed down through generations of her family and was initially tutored by her great-grandfather. She grew up in the English countryside surrounded by horses, which set her path to enjoy and capture the beauty, nobility, bravery, gentleness and power of horses, working in pencil studies and watercolour medium. In her drawing skills and paintings we witness a true understanding of anatomy that became second nature to Kristine, looking to perfect her paintings

Even at an early age of 14 she had a waiting list for equestrian works, and was selling paintings through galleries.

She has been a long established member of both The Society of Equestrian Artists and  Society of Women Artists.

“My current body of work includes pieces which are emotive and freely expressive, using the horse as a visual metaphor for qualities of greatness that the human heart aspires to: beauty, nobility, bravery, gentleness and power . . . artworks to delight the eye and touch the soul,”

says KRISTINE NASON. We welcome enquiries for private and corporate commission for Kristine’s style of contemporary Equestrian, Figurative or Portraiture work.
